Job Description

Beyond Financial Services, based in Fremont, CA, is looking for an individual with Mergers & Acquisitions Business Development experience to join our team and will be the driving force in sourcing and originating business transition deals in the Bay Area, connecting with owners of companies in the $5M-$200M range and guiding them through their most critical financial decision.

Successful candidates should possess Series 7 and 66 licenses, (or have ability to obtain), enjoy selling, and demonstrate a strong aptitude for sales by building new, and maintaining current relationships. Our goal is a highly professional approach in selling succession planning services to business owners and key decision makers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular phone calls and set appointments with leads, prospects and existing clients
  • Business development by building new and maintaining existing relationships with key business decision makers through events, prospecting and following up on leads
  • Understand the consultative approach to our services and clearly articulate the value proposition
  • Report weekly sales activity and meet or exceed monthly sales goals set by the owner 
  • Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, accountants, and other professionals

Qualifications

  • 1 + years’ experience in financial sales and business development
  • Knowledge of business transactions is a plus
  • Outgoing personality, networking skills, and an ability to develop positive rapport with business owners and key decision makers
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses or have the ability to obtain
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)  
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills 
  • Possess positive customer service attitude in all interactions 
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and with a team 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
