Position Overview
Kennedy, PC Law Offices is seeking an experienced Attorney to join our practice at our Carnegie office. Successful candidates must have an exceptional ability to communicate, stay organized, set priorities, conduct legal research, and analyze legal issues. Some litigation experience is preferred. This is a great opening for an experienced attorney to join our thriving practice and help us continue to grow.

Our practice requires broad knowledge of many interrelated areas of law, so it is helpful to have prior experience in areas such as Medicaid eligibility, orphan’s court/guardianships, administrative law, wills and estates, and elder law.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal analysis and arrive at practical solutions for clients
- Communicate regularly and effectively with clients
- Review and draft pertinent legal documents
- Represent clients in court
- Work collaboratively with our administrative and legal team
- Conduct effective legal research
- Review and draft pertinent legal documents
- Obtain and organize appropriate case related materials
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited law school and licensed to practice in PA; licensed in OH and/or WV is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of general litigation experience is preferred
- Experience with Medicaid eligibility, orphan’s court/guardianships, administrative law, wills and estates, elder law is preferred
- Skills and comfort using modern software technology to improve efficiency, such as MS Office, and related applications
- Mature and well organized
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Conscientiousness with high attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with very high standards for both quality and quantity of work
- Ability to execute tasks independently and thoroughly
