Position Overview

Morefield, providing smart technology solutions to organizations in Pennsylvania since 1945, is looking for a driven Managed Services Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership, you will serve in a dynamic "player-coach" role—balancing carrying your own individual sales quota while leading, coaching, and developing a team of three Managed Services Sales Representatives. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, you will drive pipeline growth, enforce sales processes, and conduct hands-on, in-person coaching and ride-alongs to support overall company expansion.

As the Managed Services Sales Manager, you will model best practices by actively closing new and cross-sell opportunities, holding reps accountable to performance goals, and ensuring pipeline accuracy in CRM and PSA/CPQ. This is a great opportunity for a motivated sales leader who thrives on building accountability, developing talent, and working collaboratively across sales, marketing, and service delivery teams. We offer a competitive compensation structure including sales incentives, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity for personal and professional growth in a supportive, high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Sales & Leadership: Carry an individual sales quota while actively closing new and cross-sell Managed Services opportunities to model best practices for the team
  • Team Management & Coaching: Direct, coach, and mentor a team of three Managed Services Sales Representatives, establishing performance goals and conducting regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and ride-alongs
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Own team-level pipeline health, deal strategy, and forecast accuracy in CRM and PSA/CPQ
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner closely with the President/CEO on territory planning, account assignments, and go-to-market execution for Managed Services offerings
  • Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns, events, and lead follow-up strategies to support pipeline generation
  • Service Delivery Partnership: Build strong working relationships with Managed Services/Service Delivery leadership to resolve shared client issues and ensure seamless service delivery
  • Training & Team Building: Deliver ongoing solution and sales-skills training, onboard new reps, and assist in recruiting top sales talent as the team grows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
  • 3+ years in technology or Managed Services sales with demonstrated quota attainment
  • Proven track record personally selling managed IT services, cybersecurity, or broader IT solutions
  • Prior experience coaching, mentoring, or leading other sales reps (player-coach, team lead, or manager backgrounds all welcome)
  • Must reside in or near our Eastern Pennsylvania territory to support hands-on, in-person coaching and rep ride-alongs
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and familiarity with CPQ/PSA tools
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Build a positive, high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and accountability
  • Effectively balance personal selling activities with team management and coaching responsibilities
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time-management skills under monthly performance deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing
  • Work collaboratively as a considerate, organized team player
