Paralegal - Litigation

Kennedy, PC Law Offices, with a practice emphasis on representing long-term care providers and serving clients throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, New York and Ohio, is hiring an experienced Paralegal to join our office in Harrisburg, PA. This position can be Full time or Part time and offers hybrid remote opportunities.

• Draft and prepare pleadings, documents, petitions, court filings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients and court representatives
• Effectively work with attorneys and support staff

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 year degree and/or a Paralegal degree/certificate is preferred; however, equivalent professional experience in a law firm or legal department will be considered
• 2 or more years experience as a paralegal and working in a law office; experience in litigation is preferred
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and comfort using new technology; experience with Clio is a plus
• Experience in eFiling is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work well with others as well as independently
• Excellent typing, spelling and grammatical skills with high degree of attention to detail
• Mature and well organized
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to maintain confidential information responsibly
