Job Description

Great opportunity for an experienced attorney to join our Philadelphia area office in Montgomery County.  Successful candidates must have an exceptional ability to communicate, stay organized, set priorities, conduct legal research, and analyze legal issues.  Litigation experience is preferred.  

Our practice requires broad knowledge of many interrelated areas of law, so it is helpful to have prior experience in areas such as Medicaid eligibility, orphan’s court/guardianships, administrative law, estates, and/or elder law.  

This position offers a high degree of flexibility and the opportunity for a hybrid remote work environment after an initial onboarding period.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal analysis and arrive at practical solutions for clients
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with clients
  • Review and draft pertinent legal documents
  • Represent clients in court
  • Work collaboratively with our administrative and legal team
  • Conduct effective legal research
  • Review and draft pertinent legal documents
  • Obtain and organize appropriate case related materials

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited law school and licensed to practice in PA required; licensed in NJ, NY, DE, MD is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred
  • Litigation experience is preferred
  • Experience with Medicaid eligibility, orphan’s court/guardianships, administrative law, estates, and/or elder law is preferred
  • Mature and well organized
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Conscientiousness with high attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic with very high standards for both quality and quantity of work
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Skills and comfort using modern software technology to improve efficiency, such as MS Office, and related applications
